The Schofield Reference Bible was a gift to me on my 21st birthday. I actually still have it. I carried it of course wherever I went when a Bible was in vogue. The footnotes were a must at the time. My involvement was centered around ministries whose main emphasis was on the “last days” and anything to do with the book of Revelation and the apocalypse as seen through the latest prophetic eyes. I laugh now at how much I was suppose to “learn” from the footnotes and from doomsday evangelicals like Hal Lindsey.
Fast forward 5 years and I was well on my way to debunking all that nonsense by studying and reading Spurgeon, Lewis, Calvin and Sproul to name a few. I’m in complete agreement that this one bible, the Schofield Reference Bible, is apostasy to the core and that it has heavily contributed to the here and now, a genocide of the Palestinians by God’s “chosen”. This piece is quite likely one of, if not the most important topics that MUST be internalized, talked about openly, and taken to The Lord Jesus Christ in prayer with the humility of a child.
Also someone please explain how a "people" who essentially never spoke Hebrew until the 1940s (maybe "they" did in pre-Babylonian Exile days) and today mostly derive from Europeans who called themselves "Yids" and spoke "Yiddish" (a Romance/German language with the occasional Rabbinical Hebrew thrown in) are "God's chosen people." As in, a direct line back to Jacob via an unbroken chain of ethnic heritage. And why Pharisaic Judaism/Talmudism (which has some nasty words about Jesus in the Talmud) specifically is "the" only Judaism of "the" Chosen "people".
Imagine if we could all claim going back 3000 years. The average Irish man or Brit could lay claim to ancient Rome, Norway, and in some cases, the Moorish empire.

The Schofield Bible absolutely has been far more influential in the creation of the Judeo-Christian mindset of America than people realize.
It also negated many aspects of the New Testament, which quite frankly replaced Jewish people as God’s chosen people with simply followers of Christ, and it brought it back to the old testament and Genesis 12.3.

The kingdom of God is to be distinguished from the kingdom of heaven See Scofield Note: "Mt 3:2", in five respects.
Matthew 21:43
“Therefore say I unto you, The KINGDOM OF GOD shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
Kingdom of heaven = Israel
Kingdom of God = the internal kingdom
It's not a reversal, you just don't understand what Scofield actually teaches.
