Mercy or Retreat?
Opinion: The most powerful military alliance on Earth just applauded Iran… for giving them early notice… this is unusual, to say the least.
This smells like retreat dressed as diplomacy.
Trump’s tweet reads less like victory—and more like spin. The U.S. obliterated empty nuclear sites that Iran had reportedly cleared days in advance. Iran responded with a symbolic strike that everyone “expected”… and suddenly, that’s good enough?
Let’s be honest: if Iran was truly weak, and their “retaliation” truly meaningless, the U.S. and Israel would’ve escalated. Regime change would be on the table. But instead—Trump’s praising them. Thanking them. Spinning a coordinated walkback as a win.
And our prediction we made two day ago is playing out almost word for word:
— America claims Iran’s nuclear program was “sent back to the Stone Age.”
— Iran fires off decoy missiles and declares honor satisfied.
— Israel pretends it accomplished something.
— And everyone backs off to save face.
The conflict is real. But the restraint isn’t “mercy”
It’s calculation.
Make no mistake—this isn’t a peace offering. It’s just a strategic pause. Enough for the kitties to lick their pause and restrategize.
